About Us

Our story begins over 40 years ago, when Dennis, as a young boy, would spend weekends with his father, helping him demolish old homes. One weekend in 1980, they tore down a brick corner shop, and Dennis’ dad had them salvage the bricks for reuse on a new build. This early lesson in sustainability planted a seed in Dennis’ mind.

After finishing high school, Dennis pursued a career in real estate in Sydney’s Inner West, selling a wide variety of homes. But his true passion always lay in architecture and, more specifically, bricks. Realizing this, he left real estate to return to his roots in demolition, where his love for preserving materials could truly shine. As Dennis had done with his father, his son Peter began joining him on weekends, learning the trade and the importance of recycling.

When Peter finished school, he joined the family business full-time, focusing on demolishing buildings while saving as many materials as possible. Their shared commitment to sustainability inspired an idea: to open a brick recycling centre, where they could give old bricks new life and carry forward the values passed down from Dennis’ father. Their goal? To give bricks a second life, reducing waste and promoting sustainability for future generations.

Today, our family-run brick recycling business is dedicated to preserving the past while promoting a greener future. By reclaiming quality bricks from old buildings, we help you build with materials that tell a story and are full of potential for new projects.
